Dear Friends of the Center for Compassionate Living,
We write to you today with a touch of anxiety and mostly a sense of hope and trust. Our expenses at the Center for Compassionate Living are exceeding our revenue. We share this information with you in the spirit of transparency and with the hope that our needs for financial predictability and ease can be shared joyfully by our community. With your help, we can realize the goal of increasing our automatic deductions from $350 to $1000 per month. This along with class fees and other one-time donations will help us meet our overall financial needs of $1600 per month.
If you would be willing to join our Circle of Friends who give each month through automatic donations, we would be assured of a basic income whether there is a big snowstorm or a summer slowdown—events that reduce practice group and class attendance and consequently, reduce our income.
We thank our current automatic donors who have consistently shown their support over the years. And, for those who would rather donate one time, we are grateful for your generosity too!
Ways to Donate:
1. Monthly Recurring Donation from Bank Account
This is an excellent way for you to donate, and us to receive, as no processing fees are collected and 100% of your donation is received. Currently, we enjoy 14 people contributing a total of $350 per month through a monthly bank authorization. Gifts range from $5 to $50 per month.
If you would like to contribute every month through your checking account, here is a link to the monthly bank authorization form. Please print the form, manually fill it out the old-fashioned way with a pen, and return it to the Center with a voided check.
2. Donate via PayPal
You can donate via PayPal from your checking account, credit card, or debit card. Recurring donations can be set up by checking the "Make this a monthly donation" checkbox.
3. Mail a check to:
